The paper sheds light upon social and cultural implications of creating blogs in the Internet, it discusses the characteristic traits of this discourse and dwells on its cultural value. The paper is devoted to the analysis of political discourse in the Internet. The author tackles various examples of mass media discourse of electoral and political campaigns and highlights the way the Internet media changed it.
