Specificity of feeding and systems of rations for high productive dairy cows

The problem of quality of grass feeding, optimization of energy, protein, mineral and vitamin nutrition as the factors of realization of Holstein black and white cows' genetic potential is discussed. The developed systems of feeding with taking into account of productivity and keeping period, the composition of mixed fodder and premixes are presented. It was shown that introduction of science-based feeding system increases realization of genetic potential in milk production by 11.4 - 14.0 %.
