Features of criminological characteristics of the criminal-terrorist personality

The article is devoted to a comprehensive study of the elements of the personality of a modern criminal-terrorist. The paper examines the specific features of modern terrorism in the conditions of rapid development of technical means. The authors have studied certain characteristics of the ideology of terrorism, carried out the classification of the criminal law phenomenon from the point of view of domestic and international legal regulation. The article also attempts to formulate the transforming goals of modern terrorism as an antisocial and anti-legal phenomenon. The authors studied statistical data that made it possible to form a “portray” of the terrorist's personality. It is assumed that the identified features can serve as a basis for further development of plans and measures to counter terrorism in the Russian Federation, the development of social policy in the Russian Federation, preventing anti-social sentiments among citizens.
