Features of cuboidal diamonds of Archangelskaya pipe

We carried out REM, CCL and spectroscopic (EPR, IRS, PL, RL) analysis of cuboidal diamonds from Archangelskaya pipe, a part of which contains microcrystalline porous zones. The diamonds are characterised by high concentration non-aggregated nitrogen as Ð1 paramagnetic centers (C-defects). In all the samples there were detected multicoloured parallel stripes of plastic deformation, decoreted with nitrogen paramagnetic centers Ì2 and Ì3, forming on two connivent nitrogen atoms. The studied diamonds refer to highly deformated differences. The deformations slowed down or reversed the process of mantle aggregation of nitrogen admixtures in clusters, stabilizing single substitutions at the preaggregate stage.
