Determination features of stealing objects presenting particular value

In this article there are considered a criminal-legal characteristic and determination topical issues of stealing objects present- ing particular value (Article 164 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The responsibility for this kind of stealing is emphasized into a separate norm with regard the specific features of a target of crime. The article authors are concluded that when determine the violations on the objects presenting particular value, it must be borne in mind that criminal case files should be contained the conclusion of an art-historical expert examination on recognizing the stolen as an object of particular, historical, scientific, artistic and cultural value. A guilty should be only determined under the general norms in the case of non-recognition of particular historic, scientific, artistic and cultural value of an object by the results of an art-historic expert examination.
