The lichen flora of granite and iron ore quarry-dumping complex of Krivoy Rog

The study of lichen flora of Kryvyi Rig iron ore dump, granite quarry and dump is presented. Altogether 40 lichen species were revealed. This number is considerably less compared to the natural silicate rocks of four protected areas of the steppe zone of Ukraine, which number 198 species. The most common species in technogenic ecotopes were saxicolous and epiphytic lichens, and on life forms - crustose - 27 species, and foliose - 10 species. In the territories of dumps and quarries are found lichen species common in Eurasia, as well as the species that are not found in the protected areas of the steppe zone of Ukraine.
