This article includes an overview of the features of international trade in aviation products. A quantitative assessment of the competitiveness of aviation products in Russia and foreign countries of the world was carried out, and trends characteristic of the international market for these products were identified. An analysis of global manufacturers of aviation products made it possible to identify methods for maintaining competitiveness in the international market, methods for determining consumer preferences and specific features of the aircraft market.
