There are mathematical models, features solutions and results of the calculation of hydro-mechanical characteristics of com-plex-loaded fluid-friction bearings. On the example of hydrodynamic calculation of the connecting-rod bearing of internal combustion engine is shown the combined effect of lubricant properties and the geometry of the friction surfaces on the per-formance of friction units.
