Specifics of municipal work of the merchants in the Western Siberia during the post-reform period

The article recounts activities of the merchants in the municipalities of the Western Siberia during the postreform period. It represents wide range of the researchers' views regarding the issue. The undertaken study states the most relevant inner factors of the merchants' work organization, which are: discipline of the town councillors in the conference attendance and rational management of the various temporal specialized committees. The subject matter under consideration is of a many-sided nature.
