Particularity of accumulation of chemical elements in hair of children's population of the Republic of Komi

The European North is the territory of a number of risk elements metabolism disorders. Levels of accumulation of macronutrients, essential and toxic trace elements in hair of children from the Republic of Komi were defined. The specific correlation between elements in the North was disclosed. Characteristic feature of the element status of children's population is the excess of manganese and nickel, selenium and copper deficiency. The disbalance of elements is, to a greater extent, the consequence of geochemical and climatic characteristics of the territory.
