Peculiarities of inheritance of residential accomodations in houses of household and housing cooperatives

The article reflects the specificity of legal regulation of relations, connected with inheritance of residential accommodations, which form part of household and housing cooperatives. The author dwells on the origin and development of legal regulation of the above-stated household cooperatives and problems of their activity. The article distinguishes legal peculiarities of inheritance of rights, connected to membership in housing cooperatives. The author states problems, which appear in practice in cases of inheritance of residential accommodations in common share ownership, and legal problems, which appear in cases when several heritors claim the right for membership in housing cooperatives, and a number of other topical problems of these legal relations.
