Peculiarities of the legal regulation of civil responsibility of the carrier under the contract of passenger transportation

In the article author conducts a comparative analysis of regulatory acts of the Russian civil and transport legislation determining the grounds and the conditions of occurrence of civil liability of the carrier in the execution of the agreement of passenger transportation. The author primarily focuses on the norms of the current legislation on liability of the carrier, which are most often used in legal relations connected with rendering of services on passenger transportation. Due to the fact that passenger transport in modern conditions are carried out by different modes of transport, the author tries to show the similarities and differences in the elements of normative regulation of civil liability of the carrier, based on the existing standards for the classification of passenger transportation in Russia.
