Features of teaching the Buryat noun in secondary school

In the article we have presented the methods of teaching Buryat nouns on the basis of logically completed units. Lexicology and word formation are closely related to each other, so the first unit is "Lexical meaning of the noun and word-building", the second unit is "Grammatical categories and syntactic function of the Buryat noun in sentence". To consider the linguistic features of nouns in the Buryat language we have offered to use schematic educational material and the system of exercises. The system of exercises in addition to exemplary, creative, refresher and generalized exercises should include graphic exercises, such as compiling of tables, chemes, and clusters on the studied topics. The exercises need to be relevant to the individual peculiarities of educational material perception by pupils. Finally, we have suggested working-out of exercises on the basis of oral folklore texts, which are of great educational value.
