The article deals with the analysis of specifical features of lawyer's services in favor of convicted person detained for avoiding of serving sentence in accord-ance with the provisions of the penal law. Case law examples illustrate law-yer's abilities to defend the convicted person who was detained. The author lights up problems of legal regulation concerning lawyer’s participation in the procedure of execution of sentence.
