Features of the operational investigative counteraction of involvement of people in extremist religious groups in prisons

The article deals with the issues of terminology of extremism, reveals the stages through which a person involved in extremist activities passes, and also highlights other aspects of operational-search counteraction to the involvement of individuals in extremist religious groups in the conditions of the penal system. Normative legal regulation of this direction of law enforcement activity is analysed. The author proposes measures to improve the counteraction to extremism.
