Features of operational human identification by signs of appearance

Introduction: the article analyzes the essence and characteristics of human identification by signs of their appearance in non-procedural conditions for its implementation. Materials and methods: the author’s long-term study of the problematic issues of using various storage media about the appearance of a person in non-procedural activities to identify them is the basis of the study. The methodological basis of the study was the general dialectical method of scientific knowledge, cognitive methods of observation, comparison, analysis, generalization, description. Results of the study: the author concludes that a person is successfully identified by signs of their appearance during non-procedural activities through the integrated use of operational-search measures, the preparation of subjective portraits of wanted persons, verification of available information on various types of registration systems. Conclusions and conclusions: a successful identification of a person by the signs of their appearance is possible when taking into account the specificity of storage media about the signs of a person’s appearance, especially the activities of its subjects and the integrated use of its results.
