Special features of defining the boundaries of relevant markets in digital economy

Digital economy is gaining more and more importance in the modern world. Proceeding from that, the UE adopted a strategy within which it is planned to make a single digital market of Europe. Acting on the digital markets, economic agents often violate the rules of competition. This is why the recent European Committee’s practice faces a significant proportion of cases involving the evaluation of the competitive behaviour of the companies at digital markets. The article covers the problem of establishing the boundaries of relevant markets, the peculiar properties associated with the digital markets special aspects are discussed.
