It is impossible to imagine the development of a modern state without supporting the business activity of economic entities. In addition, small businesses require increased systemic attention. Due to their specificity, they need a conceptual approach to reduce the burden on the business. In this regard, the article defines and justifies the actual features of accounting characteristic of the small business sector. Also, the rights and opportunities that give small businesses a few advantages are highlighted.
