Peculiarities of organization and survey when investigating drugs smuggling in the Republic of Iraq

Introduction:the article isdevoted tothe features oforganizing and conducting asearch during the investigation ofdrug smuggling inthe Republic ofIraq. Smuggling ofnarcotic drugs isthe most widespread and socially dangerous form ofillegal cross-border activity between states and istraditionally regarded asareal threat tonational security. The investigation ofthese crimes isparticularly difficult for law enforcement agencies, therefore, the or-ganization and conduct ofindividual investigative actions, including the search, are extremely important both theoretically and inpractical terms.Materials and methods:the regulatory framework ofthe study isformed bythe Consti-tution ofIraq, the Law onCustoms, the criminal and criminal procedure legislation ofIraq and the Russian Federation, international legal acts relating tosmuggling and drug trafficking. When writing the article, the fundamental principles ofmaterialistic dialectics isused, aswell asgeneral and particular methods ofscientific cognition: logical-philosophical, historical, gen-eralizations, questionnaires, descriptions, sociological, comparative legal and others.Results ofthe studyexpressed inthe development ofcertain theorizes and recommen-dations inthe practical field oflaw enforcement regarding the specifics oforganizing and con-ducting asearch during the investigation ofdrug smuggling inthe Republic ofIraq inorder toobtain the maximum complete evidence. Conclusions and conclusions:the main problems oforganizing and conducting asearch inthe investigation ofdrug smuggling inthe Republic ofIraq have been analyzed. The conclusion isdrawn that the production efficiency ofboth personal and group search iscaused bycompetent training, the organization and carrying out this investigative action byall mem-bers ofoperational-investigations group under the leadership ofthe investigator. Evidence gath-ered during the search can fundamentally affect the effectiveness ofidentifying and subsequently eliminating acriminal drug group.
