This article examines the main structural elements of Egypt's tourism industry: collective tourist accommodation facilities, international airports, and inbound tour operators. It highlights the geographic distribution of these elements across the country and provides key characteristics that allow for conclusions on the development of the tourism industry post-COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2023, Russia has been the leading source of tourists to Egypt. Therefore, to understand the preferences of foreign tourists, the most important organizational aspects were analyzed, including the activities of major Russian tour operators in organizing charter and regular flights to Egypt from all regions of Russia where flight programs by Russian and foreign airlines were scheduled for 2023 and 2024. The involvement of Egypt's resort hotels in the creation of tourist products by Russian tour operators was also analyzed. The authors sought to demonstrate the differences in the organization of activities between Russian and Egyptian tour operators, focusing on the technologies used in creating tourist products and the areas of responsibility for companies handling tourists, from their departure from their home regions to their stay at tourist destinations. Based on the research conducted, the prospects for the development of Egypt's tourism industry are assessed, both in the mass beach tourism segment and in relatively new types of tourism that have not yet achieved mass and quality levels of development.
