The paper carries out a theoretical analysis of the educational guidance of socially oriented activities of senior students in a modern high school. The author reviews the principles, clarifies the structure and the functions of the educational support, which takes into account the specific demands of the society, focuses on building relationships of a student with the social environment, and the student’s support in resolving the particular tasks in the real social context. The solution of this problem will allow to organize the social activities of senior students as a task-oriented, educationally organized system ensuring the healthy relationships of senior school students with the social environment, with its multifactorial influence on the personality.
