Peculiarities of treatment of oil containing wastes in dependence of it radioactivity

Samara Federal Research Center of Russian Academy of Science, Institute of Ecology of Volga Basing RAS, Togliatti, Russia In this paper analysis of peculiarities of methods of treatment of oil-containing wastes in dependence on the degree of it radioactivity have been described, including wastes incineration, extraction of oil products, distillation, biological destruction. Limitations of the choice of methods of oil containing wastes treatment in dependence of it radioactivity level have been suggested. General algorithm for selection of methods of treatment of oil-containing wastes in dependence on the degree of it radioactivity has been developed. Regularities which is necessary to take into consideration during the selection of methods of treatment of oil-containing wastes in dependence on the degree of it radioactivity have been determined. Using of the results of work is allowing us to select the most appropriate methods of treatment of oil-containing wastes and to reach significant reduction of radioactive nuclides negative impact to the humans and to the environment.
