Pecularities of soil formation on lime-containing substratas in posttechnogenous ecosystems of north taiga and forest steppe

Data on soil restoration are discussed for heaps of lime-containing substratas on lime mines in north taiga (Uchta) and forest steppe (Belgorod). Processes of soil formation are discussed as well as the effect of substrate on rates of soil restoration. Trends of initial soil formation are compared for northern versions of boreal and sub-boreal climate.
