The features of lawyers' training in the Primorye during the first period of the civil war

Unique geographical position, remoteness from the Central Russia and proximity to foreign countries made it regional administration's mission to resolve specific tasks of territory management. The urgent demand for highly qualified personnel able to speak foreign languages determined the need for opening a particular university. The article reveals the peculiarities of lawyers' training in the Primorye in 1919-1920. It is concluded that there was a need for training competitive specialists for work in the Asia-Pacific region.
