Features of obtaining criminalistically significant information about the event of a traffic accident involving personal (individual) mobility vehicles (based on the materials of the Republic of Belarus)

Crimes in the field of road safety and vehicle operation have their own specifics, which determine the complexity of their investigation and the expediency of specialization of investigators in this category of criminal cases. Currently, active road users are persons who manage personal mobility tools: electric scooters, electric scooters and similar devices. Such means and the trace information obtained as a result of their operation, due to objective reasons, have not been sufficiently studied, which does not allow the investigator to competently and in the shortest possible time to investigate road accidents that occur with their participation. This necessitates a substantive study of various aspects of such incidents and the problems of their investigation in order to further develop recommendations for practitioners. The article draws attention to the importance of obtaining digital criminalistically significant information about the characteristics of the means of personal mobility and the circumstances of the incident, shows the features of its receipt, which can be used as the basis for the formation of two algorithms of actions.
