Features of receiving the surface strengthened powder carbid steels

The questions bound to possibility of replacement the hard-processing, expensive high-alloyed traditional steels by surface strengthened powder materials on the basis of iron for metalworking tool are considered. For the purpose of determination the economically alloyed chemical composition of a powder material on the basis of iron, allowing to replace in certain cases the traditional quick cutting steels received by casting and forging, in work the Box-Wilson method of planning the experiments is used.
