Specifics of the legal status of the carrier under the contract of passenger transport

In the article author considers the peculiarities of the legal status of the carrier in the framework of the conclusion and execution of the contract of passenger transportation by different modes of transport. The author reveals and analyzes the complex regulations governing passenger transportation in Russia, focusing on the rights and obligations of the carrier, which is defined by its legal status in the civil contract. The author is not allocated to any specific field of passenger transport depending on the mode of transport. In the course of writing the article, author attempted to conduct a comprehensive analysis of legal norms, which enshrined individual rights and responsibilities of the carrier for the transportation in which it is assumed the operation and performance of the concluded between parties to the contract.
