Features of economic crimes

Currently, it is customary to link the gaps in the investigation of criminal acts in the economic sphere with the problems of the current criminal legislation. In this scientific article, the reasons for such gaps include the lack of systematic approaches of the legislature to changing existing legislative acts, which clearly becomes apparent when analyzing the latest innovations in Russian codified legislation. Thus, in legislative acts, the number of norms of a blank nature increases over time. In other words, the legislator is increasingly applying reference norms when it would be more effective to introduce more generalized regulations and systematize the norms in a more appropriate and effective way. The issues outlined in this article are relevant to the current criminal and criminal procedure legislation.
