The article discusses the features of assessing the market value of a business and income-generating assets in the context of the economic crisis. The author analyzed the applicability of the methods of the income approach to assessing the value of a business or assets in these conditions, substantiated the prerequisites for this. A modification of the income approach to assessing the value of these objects in a crisis situation is proposed.
