The article investigates the peculiarities of application of non-material methods of labor stimulation in Russian and foreign companies. The article analyzes key differences and general trends due to socio-cultural, economic and institutional factors. Russian practice is characterized by the prevalence of collective forms of motivation, combining elements of the Soviet heritage and modern Western technologies. At the same time, foreign experience demonstrates the diversity of approaches: from legislated work-life balance programs in the EU to hyper-personalized systems in the USA and digital solutions in Asia. Special attention is paid to the impact of digitalization on the transformation of nonfinancial incentive methods. The study identifies the need to adapt international experience to national specifics, as well as the prospects for the development of hybrid motivation models in Russian companies. The work contributes to the development of theories of personnel management and offers practical recommendations for the optimization of labor incentive systems.
