Features of interrogation production in the investigation of forest fires

The disclosure and effectiveness of the investigation of crimes related to the destruction or damage of forest plantations as a result of careless handling of fire or arson remains one of the lowest in the Russian Federation. To resolve the issue of increasing the effectiveness of the investigation of these crimes, it is necessary not only to fully verify the message about forest fires and make a decision on the materials of the inspection in accordance with the criminal procedure legislation, but also to carry out all the investigative actions necessary to resolve the criminal case on the merits. Interrogation is one of the investigative actions to establish the circumstances of the crime under investigation. The article discusses the features of interrogation in the investigation of the destruction or damage of forest plantations, allowing to fully and effectively interrogate both witnesses and suspects accused in the investigation of forest fires.
