Features of industrial growth in Russia

The article presents an overview and analysis of the problems of the domestic industry that hinder the realization of its potential. Despite the success in technological modernization of the domestic industry, the pace of scientific and technological development does not have a clear upward trend. A significant role is played by the high level of monopolization of industry markets of basic industries and industries that affect the pace of technological modernization of domestic production. Therefore, the most active role in the innovation economy is played by state corporations. Industrial growth should contribute to the growing volume of investments into the manufacturing sector. At the same time, the share of funds raised remains low, which is due to a lack of financial resources. A factor that has had a negative impact on the Russian economy is the discrepancy in the employment structure. The industry of the Russian Federation is under the influence of a reproducing system of interrelated constraints, both technological and institutional in nature, and caused by some shortcomings in the macro-regulation of the national economy. It is noted that the removal of these barriers will be one of the key tasks of strategic planning for the development of industry in the Russian Federation. In this regard, the application of the project-strategic approach to the implementation of industrial policy should be multidimensional and take a coordinating role in the domestic industry.
