Peculiarities of a psychotherapeutic intervention in patients with short-term psychotic disorders

the approach to the psychotherapy of patients with brief psychotic disorders is discussed. The new model, which connects the psychodynamics of brief psychotic disorders with different identity states is proposed. The worked out form of the therapy gives the opportunity to avoid some psychotherapeutic and ethic problems in this group of patients. Specific difficulties in practice are noted.
