Peculiarities of work with electronic data carriers as sources of evidence in conducting investigative actions

Introduction: the article is focused on the criminal procedure and criminalistic issues of studying electronic data carriers as material evidence. Materials and Methods: while working on the article, dialectical, logical and system and structural methods, a combination of philosophical, general scientific and privately-based methods, data from surveys of law enforcement officers were applied. Results: criminalistic peculiarities arising in legal proceedings such as investigative examination, search and seizure of electronic data carriers are viewed in the article.
