The article discusses the features of distribution and reproduction of the yellow ground squirrel (Spermophilus fulvus pall.) in nature. The yellow ground squirrel, or sandstone ground squirrel (Spermophilus fulvus), is a rodent of the gopher genus, the largest of the ground squirrels.
