Features of the investigation of crimes committed organized arms trafficking groups

This article covers some features of the investigation of crimes committed by organized groups in the field of illicit arms trafficking. The attention is focused on the fact that the uncontrolled circulation of weapons has become organized and transnational in nature and belongs in modern conditions to the potent determinants of crime. It also underlines the problems associated with overcoming the opposition provided by members of an organized group in investigating this category of crimes, as well as problems arising from the implementation in criminal proceedings of information obtained from operational activities on crimes committed by organized groups in the sphere of illicit arms trafficking.
