Specific features of public education development in the Yakutsk region at the early XX century

The article deals with the peculiarities of public education development in the Yakutsk region during the period before the revolution. Studying the archival data, the authors note the shortcomings of the educational policy, as well as describe the socio-economic conditions of education system development in Yakutia in the early XX century.
