Development features of the US military-industrial complex at the initial stage of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict

The article examines the principal trends in the development of the US military-industrial complex within new geopolitical realities, focusing on the early stages of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict. The conflict has drawn attention not only to the military-political aspects of the US global strategy, but also to the degree of readiness of the American defense-industrial complex for a possible direct clash with an enemy of equal strength. Structural imbalances accumulated during the post-bipolar period have become evident through active US arms supplies to Kyiv. The study endeavors to identify key features of the US defense industry’s development amid the initial stages of the Russo-Ukrainian crisis. The methodological basis of the study is the neorealist approach to the study of international relations and military-political issues. The main trends in the development of the US military-industrial complex at the present stage are highlighted.
