Development features of foster families’ comprehensive support in the Republic of Buryatia in modern conditions

In the article current state and solutions of the problem of orphans and children left without parental care arrangement in foster families by creation of comprehensive support system were analyzed. We considered the structure and content of activities in this system, the main stages of its formation and development. The experience of the Buryat Republic social institutions in informing the public about contemporary forms of orphans and children left without parental care arrangements, preparing of adoptive parents to take a child into their family was characterized. We identified the main objectives and problems in functioning of complex support services of foster families. The practice of assistance to foster families, development of comprehensive support system and improvement of its efficiency in the Republic of Buryatia was presented.
