Features of Stalingrad regional ethnography development in 1920-1930

The article is devoted the little-studied problems concerning to the activity of the Regional Ethnography Society and Stalingrad Governorate «Bureau Istparta» (the Committee of gaining and studying documents of the history of revolutionary movement, the October revolution and Communist Party) in 1920-1930. Based on non-used historic resources the author determined some unknown facts concerning to development of the Regional Ethnography in Stalingrad, thus eliminated the existing gap in the provincial historiography researches of the South of Russia. The author mentioned the facts are of considerable interest for the researcher community.
