Features of tourism development in Karachay-Cherkess Republic

The article presents a unique characteristic of the nature and fauna of Karachay-Cherkessia, which allows the republic to be considered one of the most promising regions for recreation and health improvement all year round. The article analyzes the tourist and recreational potential of the region, possible prospects for its development, as well as the influence of this factor on the socio-economic life of Karachay-Cherkessia. The study provides statistical data on the tourist flow of the region over the past 5 years.
