Features of the development of organizational management in the context of the digital economy

In the context of the rapid development of the digital economy, the transformation of organizational management systems has become a key factor in ensuring sustainable growth and competitiveness. This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the changes occurring in the structure and content of management functions under the influence of digitalization, process automation, and the emergence of new forms of communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Particular attention is paid to the specifics of adaptation among small businesses, for which digital transformation serves not only as a challenge but also as a source of growth and efficiency enhancement. The study includes a comparative analysis of modern technologies for organizing management activities, including the use of digital platforms, big data analytics tools, and customer experience management systems. Key challenges and barriers to digital transformation are identified, and recommendations are provided for the implementation of flexible, project-based management models. The necessity of revising classical management approaches in light of new economic realities is substantiated, and priority directions for strategic organizational development in the digital environment are outlined. The findings of the study can be applied in the development of organizational growth programs and in the decision-making process of management planning.
