Features of the implementation of state migration policy in the Arkhangelsk region: problems and suggestions

The Arkhangelsk region is progressively solving key tasks to further improve the migration climate, implement a number of infrastructure and social projects, and train highly qualified personnel. Nevertheless, in the Arkhangelsk region there are a number of problems in the implementation of migration policy. One of the mechanisms for implementing state migration policy within the Arkhangelsk region is the improvement of the system of interaction between regional government bodies and local authorities and civil society institutions in the field of migration. In general, from the analysis it becomes clear that the migration policy in the Arkhangelsk region has not been singled out in a separate direction, which serves as a significant obstacle to designing a full-fledged program that helps to reduce the level of population migration from the northern region. In order to reduce the risks of increased migration, the Arkhangelsk region needs changes in the social and economic sphere. The above proposals can help the Government of the Arkhangelsk region, state structures and public organizations in improving the efficiency of solving problems in the field of migration policy.
