Features of realization of competence approach in teaching physics students - mechanical

This article deals with the problem of the formation of competencies among the engineering cadets in studying physics. According to the research, the effectiveness of the formation of competencies is determined by educational tasks, which are offered to students in studies of various topics of the physics course. Special tasks that form the elements of general cultural and professional competencies are devised and used in the learning process by the authors. The results of a pedagogical experiment, conducted in the vocational training college, demonstrated the feasibility of such an approach.
