Specific realization of evaluative speech genres in epistolary text (on letters by A. S. Pushkin and L. N. Tolstoy)

The studies of epistolary texts permits the author to single out reproach, praise and compliment as the most typical evaluative speech genres. The major and supplementary means of their realization in the letters by A.S. Pushkin and L.N. Tolstoy are brought to light. Speech genres classification and communicative functions of reproach are stated on the basis of writer's motives and intentions.
