Peculiarities of realization of the right to compensation for violation of a reasonable period of proceedings in a criminal case suspended

The article is devoted to the specifics of the implementation of the right of the victim or other interested person who has been harmed by an act prohibited by criminal law in a criminal case, the proceedings on which were suspended, to receive compensation for violation of reasonable terms of criminal proceedings. The paper touches on problematic issues related to compliance with all the necessary conditions for filing an appropriate administrative claim. In the course of the study, based on the analysis of the legal framework defining the conditions for filing an administrative claim for compensation for violation of the right to legal proceedings within a reasonable time, and the law enforcement practice of consideration by the court of such administrative claims, proposals are made to improve the current legislation.
