Features of agreements implementation on public-private partnership in innovation sphere

This article examines the role of public-private partnership (PPP) in the implementationof the functions of a modern innovation system. It is established that the main challengefor successful implementation of the relationship of PPP in the innovation sphere isto bridge the gap between basic and applied research. Also it is necessary to ensure along term and mutual relations between state structures and private companies, whichare involved in the processes of transfer of results of fundamental research for theimplementation of applied research and their subsequent commercialisation. The paperreveals the peculiarities of PPP in the innovation sphere of the Russian Federation,discussed aspects of improving PPP mechanisms related to innovation.
