In article the analysis of modern legal regulation of the labor relations of crew of maritime shipping is carried out. Gaps in the domestic legislation are revealed and base on it was designated the necessity of reduction of the Russian legislation in compliance with the international. The Conventions regulating work of sea crew are in detail considered.
