The aim of the study was to elucidate the pattern of arterial remodeling in the experimental duodenal ulcer in the presence of aluminum intoxication. Data showed that animals with duodenal ulcers who received aluminum chloride injections had more pronounced arterial remodeling, especially in the small arteries, seen as blood vessel wall thickening, arterial lumen narrowing, vascular patency decrease, endothelial dysfunction, hypoxia aggravation, edema, and dystrophic and necrobiotic changes in the cells and tissues.
