Peculiarities of the fishery complex of Russia

The article deals with the key features of the fishery complex of Russia, which plays an important role in ensuring food security of the country and the formation of significant exports. Special attention is paid to the geographical and climatic conditions that influence the fishery, including significant bioresources in the seas and rivers. The main areas of activity are analyzed, including fishing, processing and export of fish and seafood products. The issues of state support of the industry, such as quotas, subsidies and preferential lending are considered. The presented article emphasizes the importance of modernization of the industry, digitalization of processes and introduction of innovative technologies to increase the competitiveness of the Russian fishery complex at the international level.
